Car just approved for service to replace piston rings and pistons. Will this take care of entire problem? Is any existing engine damage possible due to this prolonged problem? We've had to add oil continually for the entire 3 years she's owned the car. They said they would only warranty it for the remainder of the 125K or 8 years.
