Derek, Since your car is under warranty take it to the dealer.
I had a situation 15 years back on my Dodge Caravan that must have had over 75k miles. We would get this gas smell when driving and it would come in the interior. One day when we came home, I lifted the hood and found that the fuel line had a rubber hose that had loosened as the clamp was not tight. I could see gas leaking and tightened it. This was dangerous as the hose looked worn out at the ends and it could have been a fire risk.
After that no more leaks or gas smell.
