I have a 98 accord 2.3 5speed and it won't start unless I barely press the gas pedal sometimes it takes me a few times to get it if I crank it without pressing the pedal it shuts back off immediately but once I get it to fire up it runs like a dream idles fine on its own the other day it did randomly shut off on me while driving twice but pulled over and it fired right back up hasn't done it since anyone else experience this problem help would greatly be appreciated !

 

Check for any stored codes.
Use an OBDII code reader, jot down the codes P####(not the description) and report back here.

 

I figured it out today it was a ignition starter switch ?

 

Fairly common failure. To prevent it from failing in the future remove any heavy items on your key ring. Trinkets/charms/chains/etc and too many keys will pull down on the tumbler and cause wear on the plastic switch.
