'99 EX D16Y8. So about 6 months ago I replaced some lights that were out or super dull with LED lights. I swapped LEDs into the Cluster, Dome Light, Map light, and rear license plate lights. Ive been having an issue: one bulb inside the cluster just recently started occasionally flickering. Same issue with one of the two license plate lights. then yesterday the lights in my climate control ( which I did not replace, still stock ) also started flickering. I bought the LEDs from superbrightleds. Everything is properly installed and snug in position. The lights never go out, they just flicker for a little bit then go back to being on. The only exception is the stock lights in the climate do stay off for a while ( 10 min while driving ) before coming back on. Any ideas what causes this?

 

Faulty bulb, loose connection. Most likely bad bulb. Led will flicker if connection is bad or its dying.

 

think its the same issue with the stock climate control bulbs? its just weird that they happen to go bad at the same time I guess

 

The headlights do not flicker, only the dash lights? In that case it could be the dimmer control. Take the control out and jump the solid red wire to the solid black wire. Turn the lights on the dash lights should come on fully bright (and steady). If that works, replace the dimmer.
