Hello I am trying to lower the rear buddy club coilovers on my civic. I loosened the top ring and when I turn the bottom ring to adjust the height the whole sping/perch spins with the ring. How can I get the ring to spin freely on the perch so I can lower the rear?

 

After watching some videos on youtube it looks like I need to remove the shock to remove the tension on the spring to adjust the height.

 

You also need to adjust shock length so you're not bottoming out the shock.

 

Thanks for the tip, I did some more research and I hopefully know what to do now. I had paid someone to put them on so I wasn't entirely sure how to adjust them.
