Default Accord 2002 car turned off while driving

Before u say alternator I know I know but I'm confused because I had it checked at Auto zone and they said it was working properly. So I think ignition switch because there was a recall. Or is it fuel pump or filter because it was puttering before it turned off. Is there a way to test which one to replace or do I just do one at a time and hope for the best😣

If it's the it switch you can, when it fails, start the car and hold the key in the run position. The failure is in the detents and it allows the switch to fall back into the accessory position, thus shutting the engine off. Did you have any dash lights (mil, oil, etc) still on when this happened? An alternator wouldn't likely cause your car to suddenly shut off if it failed.
