I have a 3G Civic 1300 DX EV2, a 3G 1,5i GT EW3 donor car with damaged bottom end and will be getting another donor 4G Civic with probably an D16A6 in it with D15 DPFI. The plan is to make my daily a little quicker. I had in mind a combination of EW3-s PGM-FI and D16. As I get it, both engines are basically D-series and should be combined easily. I bet it's a little hard to understand what I'm trying to tell or why I'm doing it like this, but let's say, I got it all cheap and I'm trying to get best out of it.
Just throw a D16Z6 in there or a B-series and call it a day.
Yeah, I'd love to but there's a thing - we don't have them lying around much here. Everyone who have them are keeping them for a reason.
I will give it a try and see if someone's offering me any.
Another question. I bought the 4G Civic yesterday and confirmed that it has D16A6 in it with D15B2 OBD-O DPFI. I was thinking should I cross my fingers and hope that someone offers me any of D16 IM with ECU and all included or just slam the D15A3's PGM-FI2 IM and ECU from the donor 3G Civic 1.5i GT. What's the difference of PGM-FI2 and OBD-0 MPFI?
