Default 93 civic, 93 ls motor, knock sensor hookup required? are wires there?

we have a 93 ls motor in my gf's 93 coupe. don't have the knock sensor wired right now, cause the dx harness didin't have wires for it that i saw. didn't take off the insulation and look though. i've heard the vtec wires are there on some of them already, are the knock sensor wires in the engine harness covered up, or at least in the main harness, or will i have to run wires all the way from the computer plug for it? it hasn't thrown any codes and she's been driving awhile, but it kinda feels like a dog. if someone could tell me which pin it would be in the plugup for the engine harnes that would be great. thanks.

You are running the P74 ECU right.. LS motor doesn't have a KS and the ECU doesn't look for it.

well i figured out that what I thought was a knock sensor was an oil temp sensor. sorry for the mixup. its pinging with the timing set on the mark, so i guess something is causing it to run lean. the plugs are white and looking coated also. i'll have to throw up a pic and see what people think of them.
