Hello. I was at Jiffy Lube yesterday, and they tried to convince me on getting a transmission service. They actually showed me the transmission service price before they did the oil change or even looked at the car (which I found a bit weird), and then told me afterwards the light for the transmission was on. But I told him I couldn't do it today.

They warned me if I don't do it, it will just burn oil or something?

How will I know if I really need it or not?

 

don't let them get one up on you. your car will display to you what service it needs example: A1 etc.... and you can go by what the owners manual tells you. we do it at 30k miles 60k miles 90k etc... and always always make sure you use Honda automatic trans fluid if you have an automatic.
