So I have a 97 integra and the abs system is driving me crazy. The abs light was intermittent. I had a 1 8 Abs code. I bought a used abs system from ebay (modulator and accumulator) paid my mechanic neighbor to stick in the new one, we bled the system and at the brakes. Light still on. still has giving a 18 code. The second Day it was turned off so I thought it finally was working, but it came on the next day. I'm getting really frustrated. Any body have any ideas?*Oh the abs system I bought has a 6 month warranty, but maybe thats the the problem. Any body have any ideas? please help.

 

Did you clear the code? Perhaps call the dealer and ask about common abs problems? Maybe even check for recalls? Do u have all 4 sensors? Are your brakes wearing evenly? Does the system use air lines, if so are they pinched or damaged? What does the owners manual recommend?

 

Hi guys, can anyone tell me if the 98 Acura Integra abs sensors are the same as the 98 Honda Integra sensors, and also if the DC1 and DC2 sensors are the same?
