Default how to install A pillar pod

im having troubles getting it to fit..is the triple gauge pod..does it go over the stock one? or do i have to remove the stock pillar.. i removed mine but it doesnt fit right anyone have any suggestions?

most pillar pods just screw on top of the stock one

is made by autometer...the one that holds 3 gauges
