Ok, so here's my problem. My engine tanks out like I'm not touching the gas pedal while I'm barely touching it to ride behind someone. It happens so fast that it causes violent jerks in the engine response even if I'm doing 60 mph and trying to hold a steady speed. And even more so when excellerating behind someone who cant seem to find their gas pedal, causing me to barely hold the gas pedal and I'm driving a manual!! So, what could be causing this backwards "surge"? My TPS is new and set correctly. My TB is aftermarket, and larger than stock. Other than bolt-ons, I've not modded anything else, although it's been troublesome along the way with exhaust pipe malfunctions and an oil light that tends to flicker when the engine gets nice and hot, but only at idle, AND after my last oil change. I had a test pipe, but changed to a high flow cat, which did seem to boost performance, but also brought back the oil light issue. (again, only happens at idle after running the engine for a while) So, I have many questions that need answered, but I'm more worried about the intake issue. Unless I'm trying to keep gaining speed, this issue is making me feel like I'm gonna drop my tranny while driving the car. Is it an ECU issue? Or a sensor? Or both? My idle screw doesn't seem to do anything but aggravate the situation. Sometimes it runs higher, and then under driving circumstances, it doesn't seem to change anything at all. As a matter of fact, no matter where I turn the screw, it eventually finds its way back to 750 rpm. So, that is all the info off the top of my head. Please ask me something so I can be more specific, and maybe find some answers. (95 accord, F22B1, EX)
