Default H22a manual

Hello all and thanks in advance ,

I have a 2001 Honda prelude, i blew the og motor and bought one from a importer that imports from japan (H22a). the og motor is a manual and the one i bought is automatic. im having a difficult time starting the motor. it cranks but not getting any spark to the spark plugs. is there any difference between the two. do i need to replace anything or add any sensors?

thank you

It's likely the new motor needs to oil pump and crank sensor assembly swapped over from the old motor. JDM motors don't normally have the crank sensor at the crank so you have to swap it from the old usdm motor to the new.
