Hello guys first post here. I had my civic standing outside for 2 years. But now I get no spark (engine turns over) and main relay does not click with ignition. I have replaced my distributor for no spark issue and Main Relay for no pump action issue. Nothing has changed with new parts unfortunately also when I turn ON my ignition only battery ( battery is good ) and oil light comes on nothing else. I checked both engine and inside fuses all good there.

 

More Info: There is ground and power to the Main Relay but it still does not click with ignition (3 different relays were tried)

 

Humidity may be all-up-in your spark plug wires. Spray them down (casing) with WD-40 wait ten minutes and try again. Also, hold gas pedal down to floor (WOT) while cranking for 10 seconds...let off and then crank normally, Have you loosened fuel filter banjo bolt during cranking to make sure gas is getting to and from (to engine) fuel filter. Come to think of it..is the gas two years old? If so, could be water in fuel filter or possibly fuel pump.

 

Fuel tank was near empty so I added 10L before starting. I did the test with banjo bolt but there was no pressure while cranking, I cant hear fuel pump priming when I turn ON ignition.

 

Even though the (any) fuel pump may engage it doesn't mean it's within spec pressure. Weak or absent fuel pressure can cause a no start issue. Pull a used fuel pump from local salvage yard and replace. My friend's VW did this recently except his was intermittent fuel pressure..he replaced fuel pump and it's been fine for past six months.

 

Best to drain or syphon the gas tank and replace the fuel filter. get all that old gas out of the system, add new fuel and maybe a can of HEET brand (or similar) water remover.
May need to use starter fluid in TB to get it to run.
