Default Brand new 2017 Accord - Dealer Swapping Head Unit

Hi All.

I got a new 2017 Accord Touring last weekend, and noticed that my turn-by-turn navigation voice was not working. Navigation and infotainment otherwise work perfectly. I figured there must be some setting I was missing:

I then verified the following:
1) Navigation Mute not set
2) Radio on at an appropriate volume
3) Guidance volume is up
4) Navigation "Voice Prompts" enabled

Then I found, in Navigation -> Settings, a "Voice Language" sub-menu. In there, I should have a couple English voice options, Spanish and French. On my car, the menu is completely empty. The voice library was somehow never installed on my Touring.

I brought it to the dealership yesterday to show them, and 3 hours later, they tell me they have no idea how to fix. They are literally ordering a new head unit from Honda and will install it next week.

Not feeling good about this. I don't want my brand new dash getting ripped apart, scratched, pieces bent, introducing rattles as I drive.

Is it really impossible to re-flash the software in the head-unit and install what should have been there? This is not a hardware problem, but they are throwing a hardware solution at this.
