So if the code is gone, why are you still replacing parts?

For the''00 an up Accord's, there is no sending unit/sensor for just the temp gauge. There is an "ECT" sensor to the PCM and the PCM drives the temp gauge. The "ECT" sensor should be a two pin sensor on the end of the head/under the dist.

Again, if the code is gone - hasn't returned, the temp gauge is working properly and you have this new sensor you were sold sitting in you hand....return it and get your money back and enjoy driving your car.

For the 98-99 Accord's, there WAS a single wire/pin type of sensor/sending unit that did nothing but "drive" the temp gauge in the car. It would be located ~2 inches forward from the two wire "ECT" sensor.

Not sure if I'm confusing you or helping ....trust me I'm trying to help but at the same time be very clear to anyone that might run across this in the future
