I have trouble fitting my dc2 airbox on my Ek civic...It seems it does not have enough room. I have done lots of research but i can't find anything with pics..

I would appreciate your help. Thanks

What is it hitting that makes it not fit? Provide pics.

 

DC2 doesn't fit EK, it fits EG.

EK and DC2 are totally different.

 

there are write ups about putting dc2 airbox into ek. nothing detailed but its been done

 

OP try google images under "dc2 airbox into ek" then click on images and follow the trail if there is a write up or not.

 

You can make anything fit with enough time and money, my point was that it's not a direct bolt-in, that's most likely why he's having problems. I was just making sure he realized it wasn't going to bolt right in like it does on the DC.

 

from looking at images the airduct and filter box fit just fine. maybe only alteration is the air collecting system. nothing a flexible hvac pipe cant fix.

 

Imo, you'd be better off in search of a Comptech icebox. It'll cost less, fit better, look better, and make more power!
