1987 CRX DX Wont Stay Running
I just picked up an '87 CRX DX (carb, auto) and am having a rough time keeping it running. When cold it will (most of the time) stay at 2800RM until the choke warms up. Then it dies. I can manually keep it at about 2000rpm without a problem but as soon as I let off the gas it dies. I though this would be a vacuum issue but I cannot seem to find any bad hoses. I sprayed carb cleaner everywhere I could reach with no discernible differences. The only thing that catches my eye is the PCV hose collapses when the engine is running. Would that cause a stall issue though? Is there an easy way to verify that I am not having an issue with the carb insulator? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Maverick
