Default 96 Gsr won't start after running for a while

So my 96 gsr runns good I'm throwing a po113 code IAT sensor high circut I'm gonna change that tomorrow, but my symptoms are: after a while i just let it idle and warm up then when i shut the car off and turn it back on only sometimes when it wants too, i have too pump the gas to get it to start and it takes 3 or 4 times of cranking it and pumping the gas like the cars flooding out even, it just dies right away.... then it starts, i rev it a little, then it runs great again. do you think after i fix that iat sensor it should be fine or what are ur thoughts on it...

Sometimes on some cars it's possible to swap the iat connector with something else. Check to be sure that didn't happen.
