Default bucking at low rpm after motor removal

Hi everyone.

TLDR:
My throwout bearing siezed up last week so I removed the engine and transmission, replaced the throwout bearing and rei-installed the engine and transmission. the car is a 94 accord with a prelude transmission (m2s4) and a f23A engine. Under low load, low throttle scenarios, such as pulling out of a parking lot, the car will misfire/buck/cut out on me and throw a cel. If I accelerate with more throttle no problem.

Long story:
I swapped in the f23 and m2s4 about two years ago after the auto transmission failed. Ever since the swap the car would misfire at high rpm but I never found the cause and have been driving the car gently. insert TLDR. the car has occasionally (3 or 4 times over the last 2 years) behaved similarly where it would buck when going slow over speedbumps etc. I would assume this problem is related to me forgetting to plug something in when I reinstalled the motor but it is possibly related to pre existing conditions. Also I used an OBDI ecu from an f22b1 manual accord. I believe the problem with high rpm misfiring is related to a faulty ECU or because I am using the non-vtec external coil distributor (any feedback on this would be appreciated) but I am at a loss finding the new low rpm bucking problem.

Thank you for any advise and if you have any other questions please let me know.

Thanks!
Matt

edit* If it helps I have an f22b2, f22b1, stock f22b1 transmission, and a 96 ex parts car so If anyone has some ideas of parts to swap out I may have some I can try on hand.

Could actually be a valve lash issue, sometimes if the valves are out of adjustment the car will misfire more under load.
