I was looking under the hood of my EP3 and am wondering what needs to be done to install a cold air intake in the fender. It seems to me that the battery is in in the way of any tube I would want to run through the hole in the sheet metal. I have a K24a2, and I know that as a result, the angle that the tube to my air filter exits is different from the stock intake, or the RBC intake.

Basically, I am trying to figure out the most economical way to move my air filter out of the hot engine bay. I guess another option would be to reinstall a gutted OEM air box around my short ram, or with a flat panel K&N filter. Any ideas?
