Icon5 02 Civic EX Stock Radio Acting Very Weird

My 2002 Civic Ex stock radio has been giving me some problems recently and I cannot find anything else online about the issue that I am having. Hopefully someone on here can help me! So when I first start my car the stock radio just displays an "_" which is very weird. The backlights still work as does the AC and everything, but none of the buttons and ***** do anything. But after the car is running for maybe 10 minutes the display might come back to normal and I can use it. But then let's say 10 minutes later it looks as if the display is shorting out, like half of the display has nothing and the other half is how it should be. For example if the clock is supposed to display "8:20" it may only show "8: " and half of the 2 or something. These problems started after I installed this

about a week ago. I plugged it into the empty slot on the back of the radio as directed. If I need to clarify or explain anything don't hesitate to ask! Thanks in advance!

Have you attempted unplugging the aux input device to see if the radio goes back to normal? If it stays the same, the radio itself is damaged. There is nothing in the car that controls the specific display or **** functions. You give the radio 12v and a ground, it will work normally. The rest of the wires are 12v constant for keeping presets and time memory, illumination/dimming, and a bunch of speaker wiring, and possibly a remote b (power antenna wire). Other plugs include the antenna and the aux cd changer/tape deck thingy.

I will try this today. Thanks!
