Default question...bilstein shocks on civic si 02

Hello,

i am planning to get new bilstein shocks for my civic si 02 but i read that it comes as threaded M16 while the 02 ep3 is M14.

any body had these shocks and how it is possible to install ?

I don't think they're threaded. The holes for the spindle will accept up to a M16 bolt. You have a M14. So the bolt will go thru..but maybe you need to use some sort of special washer or sleeve so that there isn't excess play between the bolt shaft and strut mount hole.

Maybe they come with some sort of "filler" hardware.
