Hey guys, I am a new civic enthusiast, just bought an 89 EF hatchback, D16Y8 build a few weeks ago and came here looking for community and support!
I have a background in Software Development, Linux Systems Administration, Web Service Hosting, Network Engineering and Electrical Engineering and spent the last 5 years turning wrenches in a greasy factory.
I have owned several 90-2000s Chrysler/Dodges, and have done all the work on them myself. I got tired of having to pay outrageous amounts for parts/repairs on those and was allured by the simplicity and fuel efficiency of these old civics. It is currently out of action as the starter failed a few days after I brought my civic home, and the alternator died a week after that. So at this point I am just waiting on taxes to get it running again and researching what all I can/should do to it!
Anyways, I am glad to be here, and look forward to sharing my build and collaborating with other Honda enthusiasts!
