I need to know what type sealant to use when installing a oil pump it calls for 0Y740-99986 but I cannot find that type and I have Honda bond HT but I do not believe that is it .what type after market sealant should I use??

Edit: Disregard that link as it's European. Seems that is just HondaBond 4 here in the states.

I have used Permatex Ultra Black in many engine builds. Zero issues.

 

Thanks Guys I will get some ultra black tomorrow ,although it looks like they used regular Hondabond at the factory LOL it is grey and still soft after 23 years I am changing the oil pump off a 1994 engine to put in a 1997 car
