Default Opinions

Hello, I am new to the forum and looking for some input on some new shoes for the car. https://www.carid.com/konig-wheels/l...ed-465558.html Those are the rims im looking at but size is at question. I have stock suspension and am looking for something to fill up the wheel well a little better and make the car look more smooth. Could i squeeze a 16'' rim on the car? factory width of i believe 6.5 so a 16x6.5. And am looking for a set of new tires but nothing super expensive as this is my dd for only summer. It is to help me save money so i can throw some back into the jeep for the winter/trail seasons. I am looking at these tires https://www.walmart.com/ip/SOLAR-4XS...-Tire/52943297 yes i know walmart. but they are decently cheap and i have heard okay things about them but want to know if anyone has run these or can suggest a decent tire around the same price. Also im looking to add a cold air filter thinkiong of doing a k&n air filter. Pretty cheap so not to bad at all and can do on my own.

A set of 17" x 7" rims with 205/45R17 tires will fit your car. If you want the 16" version of those rims. You will want to go with a 205/60R16 tire. Choose whatever make tire you feel fits your budget. Just remember, you get what you pay for. Cheap tires usually won't last very long. Tire life also depends on the condition of your suspension and driving habits.

Are you looking to do a complete cold air intake or just use the stock air box with a drop in K&N filter?

If you are looking to do an entire cold air intake on the cheap. Make sure to buy a good filter. A K&N cone filter will work. Don't go with one of the cheap overseas filters from Ebay. Unless you want to replace them every second oil change.

I am going to do a complete cold air intake replace. It is decently cheap to do the whole swap with a short arm and K&N filter. But what one would look best? Would a 17'' rim look clean with the way the car sits as is? or will it be a little too much? Does anyone have any pictures to represent the look? Ibe tried looking and i cant find any relating to my year

If you google, CD Accord with 17" rims, and look at the images. There are a tone of 94-97 CD Accord images with 17" wheel and tire combos. Some lowered and some stock.

I think there are some pictures in the FAQ section of this forum as well.

Awesome. That looks absolutely perfect. Now, would be suggested to roll the fenders to be safe for some rubbing?

Shouldn't have to roll the fenders if you stick to the sizes as mentioned above. Unless you are planning to drop your suspension. Then you would want to roll the fenders.

Okay awesome. Lowering the car is not in the books right now. I don't really plan to do it at all with this car but who knows i might in the future. But cool i will stick to those measurements. Thank you!
