Hi.
I'm new to this forum.
I have a Honda Civic LX 2001
I removed the dash (horizontal tube under the dashboard and behind the air conditioner / heater?) for sand-blasting, since I had to paint the whole car )inside and out) due to a minor but unfortunate traffic accident. I thought I would take the rust off the dash since the dashboard went out anyway. That was a while ago...
Now, as I was re-installing the dash, I just can't figure out where the heck all the connectors go.
I know that each male has only one female part, but still.
Nevertheless, If someone has any document or manual of the wiring harness that says specifically where and how each connector goes, that would be really helpful...

ugh, that's a tough one. i know exactly what you mean about how the connectors and wiring should be routed; that's a tough nut to crack unless you took pictures before removal.

best advice I have is to lay the harness out and let it fall into a natural position (it should hopefully still have some 'memory'), then look for holes close to the ziptie points where it makes sense for it to be attached to the dash reinforcement bracket.

I'm not even sure if the factory service manual has good info on how the harness is properly routed. you can always check youtube or scan google images to see if something useful pops up. anyways, hope someone else has some decent pics...

 

Just look where the connectors lay naturally.
