Default Rim suggest. drilled 4x114.3 AND 5x114.3? --- (for 5th Gen & next TSX)

Looking for Ideas and suggestions on rim-types that will be mounted on my current 4x114.3 94 Accord and then eventually on my 5x114.3 TSX. Offset 40-42. I'm assuming TSX will use the same offset...

Looking at 15 x 7 thru 17 x 7. With a 4 and 5 hole pattern on the same rim. One thought i had was that making a rim that could take a 4 and 5 pattern would mean more metal...which would mean more weight; would it be hard to find a lightweight rim that could do both at the same time?

Also, maybe I'm going about this the wrong way. Maybe I should just keep my cherry 94-95 EX 7spokes and just get S2000/ITR/forged NSX wheels when I get the TSX?

Not looking for stunna rims; they must be lightweight. thanks!

EDIT: Wheel weight list:::: http://cuzinyung.com/wheelweights.html

I've seen them. I just don't know what's out there.

I have a set of Sparco's that fit both. I used them on my accord and now there on my brothers 5 lug 240sx. So you might want to check Sparcos.

Edit: Check out takakaira.com for more info on them. I don't know if the site is still working right now, but it's usually working most of the time.

Cool. Thanks mang.

So far I've found a Sparco, a SSR, and 2 Racing Hart 9-hole 114.3 rims. Cool. Anymore anyone found/ can think of?

I've seen these combo 9-hole, 4 or 5 lug wheels. Looks ghetto. IIRC two of the holes actually overlap. Two other holes are like a couple millimeters away from eachother. I would never run a wheel like that. Dual patter 8-hole 4x100 4x114.3 wheels are acceptable.
If you are doing a 4 to 5 lug conversion, do it right and just anti up and get yet another set of wheels, selling the 4 lugs.

I wouldn't do it, it is VERY dangerous. The wheels become very weak in the hub area.

i gauruntee tha the tsx will use 17's from the factory just as the old ATR did...so you may wanna stick with something that size or maybe 16's...but 15's might be a little small for the wheel well...that is speaking from a cosmetic standpoint, but 15's for a performer....

Good point. I'm sure the TSX Type-S (or whatever upline model they come out with when they launch) will have 17's just like the RSX. I'll prolly have to wait for a type-r here in the states.....*sigh*. But I'm sure I could at least order a set of OEM JDM/UKDM TSX (er...Accord everywhere else) Type-R rims...
