They weigh 10.5 lbs.

Don't expect to get to much if you sell them, maybe $250 max.

9.75 lbs for the rim and you wont get too much $ for them. HX rims (14inch VX's) arent even going for that much. 13's are just too small these days

13's too small my poop! For those with lightweight cars and decent single cam powerplants, those 13's are gonna increase your final drive and you'll notice a huge difference on the track if you run with some A032R's or something!

They'll increase any car's final drive, but not needed with say a C5 swap, but will still help

Have you ever driven a car with VX rims? Have you ever driven a car in the rain with VX rims? It sucks! Going from a stop to do a left hand turn in the rain you can feel the car start to "FWdrift" and thats not even accelerating hard.

13inch rims are fine with stock brakes, what if you want to do a brake upgrade, good luck.
165series width, wow those seems like they lay alot of rubber on the ground for traction.

I have VX rims and i think they look awesome, however, for anything relating to performance, i say they suck

alot of people suggest cramming 185-195 width on the rims, bet you'd get a traction increase....

I have vx rims. I've weighed em with the stock tires...22 lbs exactly. I can vouch for them sucking in the rain. Gotta good scare once...hydroplaned but luckily didn't lose control. I have never tried the A032Rs or any other tire...but the stockers suck. I have managed 2.2 60 footers on them.

As much as I hate the performance aspect of it...I still must admit, they look pretty dope and totally give that sleeper look.

Hey, n00b, OEM VX tires are 165/70-13. The tire of choice on CiViC's these days, for the most part, is 205/40-17. Do you know how much of a difference that is? A 205/40-17 is .7-inch taller than a 165/70-13.

That doesn't seem like a lot to me when you're talking 23 1/2-inches...

I think he was talking aesthetically which IMO they are way to small. 15s for CRX's and 16s for Civics. If you want to go faster, buy a turbo, not 13 inch wheels.

I didn't say the rims cause the hydroplaning. I said I've never tried any other tires but i know the stockers suck.

Every tire that Honda uses on their stock vehicles short of the S2000 blow major a$$. I hydroplaned on the crappy a$$ stockers and almost curbed my car. Ditch those things and bought S-03s a couple days later. There is absolutely no comparision.

Wow on me, i forgot that every professional race team runs 13inch rims.

I bet GSR brakes love VX rims, better yet EX brakes love VX rims
I can see why HondaTech is starting to lose its respect, newbie this newbie that, jdm sucks this jdm sucks that, hate on every thread.

That's because 90% of the "conventional internet thinking" is ******* wrong. Anyone with a keyboard and half an idea of what's going on can sounds like a goddamn expert. Honda Tech losing respect? Yeah, my nuts.

What about a set of those Sumitomo HTR 200? Anybody ran these yet? Might get some for track use. $39 a tire! weeeeeeeeeee
