Icon5 1990 EF Swap to B20 lowcomp Auto.

I know this isnt going to make some of you on here happy, But im not building a track car, this is a joint restoration with the wife and she doesn't drive stick Shift right now..

Anyway i have a couple of questions:

So i have sourced the engine with the fwd auto trans (cable) for my DX SEDAN. Most threads i have seen for a B swap with auto have been b16s.
Is there any thing i need to be concerned about with the b20?
is there any specific wiring changes that need to be made? Are there clearance issues?
I was told that the b20 auto trans had electric problems is that going to effect me?
Is it smarter to just teach her how to drive stick? < please back this by some type of fact not just opinion> ( its not that she wont learn, just really don't believe she will enjoy daily driving in manual like i do)

Please any comment or information is appreciated.

Im not lazy just bad at researching so even a point into the correct direction is great i will take it from there...

You'd be better off swapping it in with a B18 auto transmission.

You'll most likely need a donor car so you can take out the harnesses and any accompanying transmission parts if necessary when doing the swap.

I've no personal experience, just what I think I would do in this case. Keeping it as stock to an automatic Integra as possible would be the best way to ensure success.

The auto trans.

Although the b18 is practically the same in regards to HP/TQ, and you wouldn't have issues with the ECU being possibly too lean.

Please document your progress!! I'm prob going to be doing a B20/B18auto swap in my EF at some point.

Things that worry me:

Axles - I expect 90ish Integra auto axles will need to be used
Mounts and the rear cross member clearance issue
Which shifter cable to use, I hope the Civic one would work

Other than that, I just think it'll be a wiring game... basically just wiring everything up properly.

If you have any links about even the B16auto swaps, I'd very much be interested in seeing that too!
