B20 vtec ecu help
So my ecu burned out recently and I'm running a b20 vtec in a 90 civic sedan ob1 conversion. The old ecu I had on it was p28 most likely chipped and socketed. Some one told me that pr4 runs better in the swap so they gave me a pr4 chipped for vtec and socketed as well. Now my car runs like ****, obviously I haven't had it tuned to the car, but I was wondering if it is even worth it to get the pr4 tuned because everyone suggested that I get a p28 instead and chip that because I've been reading online forums and some people say that some ecus don't work well with certain engines. I really don't feel like spending another 200 on a p28 with all the mods in it. So I was just wondering if I tune the pr4 will my car run well? Thanks in advance.

any ecu will work as long as it has the right components installed. I just ordered an ecu from xenocron for my b20V setup. I got a p75 chipped with a basemap. Call xenocron, maybe you could send it over to them for a tune.
