Not sure if this has been covered or what, but today I was going to change my rear bearing, after removing the old one I tried the new one and the inner diameter was too big for the spindle.
I mesured the old one and the inner diameter was 23mm, but the new one has 28mm. Is it possible that rear spindles are from a different car? Maybe an older/newer Civic?
I would like to hear your thoughts

'92 -'95 Civic CX/VX hatchback came with small rear drums, I'm not sure if the spindle size differed though. I'd try ordering one of those and see if it fits.

 

Thanks, will try that. If not then gonna get a cheap donor car and take the whole rear suspension from it
