Hi you guys. I have a 1996 honda civic 1.6l 5 speed and wanted to know if anyone knew if the reverse light switch on the tranny was a 19mm?

 

This is the switch. My 17 is a little small and if im not mistaken, there is no 18mm lol.

 

It's 19mm. 3/4" also works.

18mm exists, most domestic stuff uses a lot of 18mm, but you wont see it on a Honda other than sometimes on the nuts on aftermarket ball joints.

 

i don't understand the purpose of this thread. Maybe I am easily annoyed in my old age. But, something as simple as take a couple deep socket to the part and you will find exactly what size it is. Or even an adjustable wrench?
Sure, you may argue this info is good for future members to have then again, google is up and active. No???

Have we become more lazy this day and age that we don't want to even try it ourselves first?
