So, I just purchased this car and took it in to have the windshield replaced... Everything working, Previous owners said they never had any issues...

I picked up the car tonight, and the digital Spedometer, Fuel Level Gauge, and Engine Temp bars on the upper instrument cluster don't work. (Signal light indicators and hazards work on that upper cluster)

Shop that changed the windshield says no electrical was touched.

I know it seems like a strange coincidence and I want to blame the garage as well... but I will be calling them again tomorrow


I disconnected the battery to reset the car... still nothing

Cant seem to find a fuse that is directly related to this part of the dash.

I did a gauge sweep test as per Youtube vidoes and got an Error Code 3 displayed on my lower cluster (the one with the Tach)

I need to call Honda and see what this code means... I cant find much online for this problem.

Anyone got any advice?

 

Fixed - Needed to replace spedometer.

Must have been a fluke that it blew up when the windshield was changed.
