Default New Transmission?

Ok I have a 98 Honda Accord Ex. 2.3 cylinder F23A1. I really like my 5 speed manual but id like to I know what transmission it may be and what has typically worked better? Where's a good place to buy engines and send mine as a core charge? Thanks for any help

Default Re: New Transmission?

What do you mean by 'worked better'?
JDM importers around me don't charge for a 'core' but they will often require a core to acknowledge a warranty for their transmission.
If you are going to have yours rebuilt(best way IMO) there usually is no 'core' charge as your 'core' is being reused.
