Need advice for purchasing a del sol
Hello Honda nation,
im looking at buying a 1994 del Sol. All the info listed on it is that is 5sp runs and drives excellent and that the hood flew up and busted windshield. My question being I'm trying to figure out what motor is in it. I know why not just ask but the kids is very hard to communicate witg, doesn't respond very often. Here is pics it say SI also thanks.

Where are the pics? Ask the kid to send you a picture of the engine, and a close up picture of the header/transmission area on the engine, the engine code will be stamped near there. If it's an Si, it's probably a D16Z6, if it's an Si VTEC, it will have the DOHC B16 motor (better).
