1/2 ton 4wd 160,000 miles
$1250 OBO
NO TRADES
I'll get the bad out of the way first. It needs exhaust work and the cab mounts fixed (I have a piece of 1/8 plate to fix them just haven't had the time yet). Could use some body and interior work, seat is bad but has a Mexican blanket on it for a seat cover. Check engine light comes on but doesn't effect how it drives, has done this for literally 10 years. There are other small things but those are the most prominent.
The good, engine was rebuilt around 130,000, transmission was rebuilt around 155,000 (TCI race overhaul kit and B&M shift kit) 4wd works. Tune up, front brakes and the left hub done last fall(probably around 3-4 thousand miles ago), rear brakes done about 15,000 miles ago. I put 4 new speakers and a new Kenwood cd player in it last fall. Body isn't great(needs a box and tailgate) but cab corners and rockers are good, front fenders are rust free (left has a decent sized dent). I have the center caps for the wheels just not on right now. New starter less than a month ago.
I've had this truck for over a decade and love it but my family has outgrown a single cab and I simply don't have the time to fix it like I would want. Would make a great project or just drive it, I am still driving it to work everyday. I have some doors and a hood in better condition than what's on the truck, a dash that is in great shape and all 3 books of the factory service manual. Unfortunately the paperwork for the engine and transmission is gone.
Keep in mind it is an almost 30 year old vehicle with well over 100,000 miles, as is as it sits, no warranty of any kind implied. As you can see in the pictures it's not a particularly good looking truck (potential is definitely there being a single cab short box) but it will haul plenty of what ever you would need to and it goes through snow great.
