Default I appreciate the rain we are getting here in CA, but not in my trunk...

So, my trunk keeps filling with water, smells horrible. All my carpet is soaked. I pulled the rear panels off and cleaned out the rubber stopper for the sunroof drain, and it did not help. Trunk filled with water again last night.

Any ideas where else this could be leaking? My guess is a cracked or disconnected drain hose, but I'm not sure without doing more disassembly.

Mine was coming in through a disconnected drain hose behind the passenger side panel. Re-connected it and sealed with a bit of silicone and hasn't leaked since. I also replaced my tail light gaskets a few months ago as I noticed they had been letting some water in.

Thanks, this actually helps. I was thinking it must be coming down from the roof area, because the back seats and carpet were wet, but after poking around in some articles, it could be that the pool of water is spilling forward when I hit my brakes.
I'm going to look at the taillight seals next.

Check your window seals....Idk about where you live but in the NE we obviously have rust and people do some half a** jobs installing windows and cut the paint when removing the old window. Supposed to apply a strong paint sealant to cover the scrapes which a lot of budget ones don't do and it will rust out and through the metal causing leaks. Currently have this issue on one of my ek's. Also check the seams of body panels where Honda used a seam sealer with tack welds, they can crack and leak over time which I had an issue in another of my ek's.

It's your tail light seals. If u have after market tail lights, the bolts won't be as exact as oem. The bolts will pinch when tightened, and not get a good seal. Drill out the holes a bit to guarantee they go in all the way. New seals are pretty cheap on ebay.

2nd the tail light seals... mine were completely gone.

I have a DB8, but the tail light seals are known to leak on those as well.
I just ended up drilling a few drainage holes in the spare tire area, then sprayed the whole trunk with truck bed liner... it actually turned out pretty good.

Got a nice storm that came through last night. Dry as a bone. Must have been the sunroof drains. I never touched the taillights.
