Seat Swap Recommendation - Comfort/Touring not Race
Hope I'm posting in the right forum.
Does anyone have comfortable seat recommendations for long haul driving for a 2000 Civic coupe? Looking for basic...don't need electronIc seats but comfortable with lumbar support preferably.
I'm looking at Recaro and Bride, but do you have recommendations as to particular models? Again, I'm not looking for racing seats but something comfortable for cross-country drives.
Anyone swapped out for older BMW or other luxury coupe seats?

There is a list of seats from other Hondas that can fit. If you can weld, you can try and fabricate anything you want. I found the 2000 Civic seats to be decently comfortable, like okay, but sitting too high and lacking in side bolster support. Also the 'adjustable height' seats have a flatter butt cushion with springs while say the 96 dx seats are a rounded pan with a cushion, which i find to be more comfortable.
The 94-01 Integra has good seats if ya ask me, and if you swap your seat rails (5 bolts per seat, not too hard), they bolt in like stock. So you'd have your choice of the sedan seats or coupe seats (wider and more snug seat bolster on coupe ones) and you can choose between cloth or leather Integra seats. Also the del sol has seats that sit lower if you're taller and are very comfortable. Search "EK seat swap" on a picture search and you can see more of your options. People have swapped in power and heated seats before, with some work its doable.

If you can find "CTR" Recaros, aka Recaros that came in the Civic Type R in Japan, they will bolt right into your car with no fabrication.
