Im having a similar issue as this thread but with my rear right speaker I get no sound from any of the speakers when its hooked up but when I disconnect it all the other speakers start working.
sound only comes from it when its disconnected while the radio is on and I reconnect the wires. will the battery trick fix that?

 

So I have a 98 honda accord LX and I just installed some new rear sony speakers by splicing the wires, the speaker on the left works perfectly but when I hook up the right speaker all the other speakers stop working. but I know the right speaker isnt blown because if I turn on the power and connect it it plays sound and all the speakers work but soon as I turn the power off and turn it back on its no sound again. So what could be the problem?
