I just got a 98 civic coupe with a y7 motor swap,when I bought it the guys said it had a bad ball joint,and upon further inspection l,it seemed that the ball joints were fine but both top and bottom rear trailing arm bushings top and bottom are gone,the car has a Terrible ride,and pulls to the left,and the left rear tire sags way lower than all of the others,,first thing I need to know,what should I replace besides the obvious trailing arm bushings.the second problem I have is under the from left side when I accelerate hard,or up hill,there is a hard clunking and clicking,and the car seems to rise a bit,then is fine.nothing happens when I turn or anything else,I have Jacked the car up and inspected the control arms and other links and bushings they seem fine,but when I rotate the forward and back when in park there is a little more than and in of play, and my axle seems to have a small amount of play going into the diff,all of my mounts are new,
can someone please help me fix this

 

This is a pretty classic driver side upper engine mount issue. But...are you saying all your engine/trans mounts are new?

 

The car got a motor swap before I got it,and when I look at the mounts they all look either new or not really work at all,and I popped the hood and reved the motor to high rpm,and I did not see any jump or hear the noise,could it be possible it only happens when it's under load

 

Have someone put the brakes on and put load on the engine while you stand outside and watch it with the hood popped.

 

could be the culprit
