I'm new to Hondas, having just bought a 2001 Accord (long story, I won't get into it), and I have what may seem trivial questions, but I'm still curious: does the clock have a light to illuminate it when the dash lights are on? And since what I have is an automatic, does the shift console light up with the dash lights as well? I don't have a full manual yet, so i'm not sure about fuses and such. It just seems to me that the shift console would light up with the dash, and I'd really like the clock to do so, too...

 

The clock should, yes. But it probably burnt out....both my mom's and sister's 6th Gens had the same issue. For the shifter, I'm not sure if it does or not, but i'm inclined to say yes.

 

The clock on the dash is supposed to be illuminated I've replaced mine twice but the bulb keeps falling out
