HELP! SAFE TO RUN ON BENT REAR WHEEL HUB? URGENT!
I somehow, not sure how bent my rear wheel hub today. I get an extreme vibration from the back of the car. I jacked up the back of the car and spun the tire. It moves in and out about 1/4 to 1/2 inch at the top while spinning. Is it OK to run it about 80 miles this way tomorrow and change the wheel hub on Tuesday, or will this destroy something and cause an accident? Thank you, I do not want to die or hurt anyone.

It is not safe.
Forget about the mechanical damage it could cause. That doesn't matter.
Innocent lives matter. When you wheel comes flying off or you lose control of the car from the fucked up alignment you are going to crash. This puts every other innocent driver on the road in danger.
Hire a tow truck.

Are you sure it's not just a bent rim?

You really need an Internet forum to tell you that? If it's bad enough you have to ask, or you don't know, don't do it. I know having to tow sucks, but it's better than "die or hurt anyone."
