Default Introducing Myself: I Run the Honda-tech Front Page

Hey All, I figured it was time I really hop in here and introduce myself. My name is Jake and I work for Internet Brands, the parent company of Honda-tech.com, and I am in charge of all of the editorial content that appears on the front page of Honda-tech. On the front page you will see articles written by our freelance team and myself pertaining to all things Honda. If you have ideas for things you want to see written about, are considering being a contributor, or just want to tell me how much you hate my existence and want me dead (Hi, GD&D!) feel free to slide into the DM.

I am a car-crazed fool, which is part of the reason why I.B. hired me, and have been on the forums as a lurker for years. In case you think I'm just some corporate scumbag who doesn't care about the brand, my current DD is a 2010 Civic Si FA5, nicknamed Hitomi. I campaign the car in SCCA autocross in the H-Street (formerly "Stock") class. I'm not a bad wheel man either, having ended the 2016 championship in 2nd place overall.

As-is, the car has very limited mods due to the class I run in. That was intentional, to balance out the massive money pits that are my other two cars (more about them later, if anyone is interested). I'll start a build thread, likely in the Road Racing/Autocross & Time Attack sub-forum since that is where I like to waste my time. It's pretty much just 200TW "street" tires and a big Progress rear sway bar. The FA5 is really well-balanced out of the box.

Well, that's about it for now. I wanted to get my name out there, so it doesn't seem like the people running Honda-tech are total strangers. We have a lot of really cool stuff planned for H-T this year, including more press car test drives and working with the forum sponsors on making content, so stay tuned for that. Don't be surprised when you see my name popping up in the forums more often. I tend to be an opinionated, but generally well-informed jerk.

I leave with one more glamor shot of Project Hitomi that I'm pretty fond of:
