Shifter install loose skunk2
Hasport linkage and skunk2 shifter. Going on a 91 crx
Is there something I'm missing?
Bolt - washer - fork arm - shifter with the supplied sleeve for bearing on both sides - fork arm - washer - nut
If using the spacer they provide before the nut it leaves about 2 threads. I believe there are OEM rubber spacer bushings that go on either side of the shifter but don't recall and car does not have them currently. If I switch the washers from outside the fork arms to inside it is tight and snug but doesn't look right. What am I missing?

Meh either run a washer or bend it in I guess. Still not enough threads for the nut if I bend to use the supplied spacer though. Either make my own spacer out of washers or just bolt that nut all the way down.

When I got my skunk2 shifter about two years ago, it came with a small washer that fills in the gap you show in the pictures. If you leave it out it is loose with quite a bit of play.
