Default Space needed for...

I swapped a JDM B16a into my 97 Integra LS and put aftermarket headers on it, but now I'm having problems comfortably fitting my aftermarket half radiator in there without the worry of melting radiator fan housing. About how far apart do you think the plastic housing should be from the exhaust pipe? Just trying to figure out where I could exactly put it.

Also, if you are talking about the stock fan, you might think about an Maradyne slim fan.

It will give you a little more space without compromising CFM.

its a mishimoto slim fan. On a pro tuning lab half radiator. As of right now, my radiator will sit comfortably in there but my slim fan is literally about 1/4-1/2" away from one of my header pipes. Is that enough space away from it without my fan melting or does it need to be further away?

Why is the radiator installed on the motor side? I am not sure if the older Integra's are like the older Civics, but the Civic has the radiator on the transmission side so the header never gets near the radiator.

Heres a link to show you my crude drawing of my car to try and explain it. I'm at work right now.
