Icon4 2006 Honda Civic Si -EMERGENCY- Won't do anything

Hello, I have recently put a new motor in an Fg2 Si coupe. I have gotten the key programmed, electrical harness hooked up in the motor, everything works on the interior side of things, (Windows, Wipers, Radio, Etc.) When I go to crank the vehicle is doesn't do a single thing, no turn over, no click from the battery being dead, NOTHING! Now I have had several theories the first was I hadn't tightened down the ground on the starter, I have done that, and the other in there is no fluid in the clutch line yet, just wanted to see if I could get it to crank before I went a long with the project. Could it be that with no fluid going to the clutch and that it is keeping it from cranking? Will it crank with no gas, currently the gauge has no "Cubes of Gas" Or could there be something else!

Any help is appreciated, Please REPLY quickly I would like to know what the problem is!

Thank you!

Are you getting power to the starter signal wire, the smaller connector ?

Where is the signal wire located? Is it on the ground of the starter? I am going to try tapping on the starter tomorrow!

There is no "ground" on the starter... it grounds to the block/transmission case. There are two wires that go to the starter: 1) The large 12v power wire with a ring terminal on the end... held on to a threaded stud on the starter by a 12mm sized nut. 2) Starter signal wire - it is a black single wire plug with a female spade terminal inside it and plugs into a male spade shrouded inside a black clip.

Silly question... you stated that there is no clutch fluid in the line, so I take it you have the shifter in neutral and you are still fully depressing the clutch pedal to the floor to engage the starter safety switch even though you know this will not release the clutch ?!? Without depressing the clutch pedal completely to the floor, the car will make NO noise when the key is rotated to the start position.

I have the pedal pressed all the way to the floor, but without the fluid the clutch can't engage correct? I have watched a video and dude had the same problem, people were saying starter, main relay, all kinds of stuff. Didn't really get a solid answer, however most of the comments where starter.

The clutch fluid has nothing to do with the circuit. There is a switch that detects that the clutch is fully pressed down. Take a look down at the clutch pedal and see if the plastic piece that the switch pushes against has broken. It would be in pieces if it is. If it's still intact then try jacking the car up and hitting the starter hard with something hard like a hammer. Hit it real hard and then try to start it. If it starts then the starter is likely bad. If it still doesn't start then check for battery voltage on the small wire going to the starter when you push the clutch down and try to start it.

Thank you all for the feedback! I have tried hitting the starter, I didn't hit it like I was pounding a nail into wood. I gave a little more the gentle tap, went back inside the car and tried to start it, and it didn't do nothing, did this twice.

I have a bigger problem. I turned the radio on just to have some music on while I tried to get the car started. My radio went blank, will not turn back on, then my dash lights started acting weird, now they are gone. No lights what so ever. Only light is the emergency brake light. A relay is clicking above the inside fuse box, it is blue. My key will no longer lock my doors, the locking mechanism will move, but will not lock the door.

Okay, so I have tried jumping the clutch switch, I have tried hitting the starter while cranking, I have replaced battery, nothing is giving. I can manually turn over the motor. I remembered loosening a ground and I checked it, and it was loose. I tightened it up and I thought I got it....nothing at all.

I gave you advice that can potentially help you narrow down the issue but you chose to ignore it.
