Does anyone have any info or a link that still works to the wiring diagram to set up the fog lights on this model.
I am trying to retrofit them onto my 94 model. I know how to attach them to the bumper and have both the relay and interior switch
but only have an inch of piggyback wires on each of them to wire them up so I need to know which wires are for what.

The harness is the same for 94-97. The difference is the shape of the foglight housing. 96-97 mount from the front, 94-95 mount from the rear of the bumper. And if you're looking to make it stock, there are a lot of elements and fusebox/power connections.

Thanks for that info. I am aware of the difference in mounting the fog lights. I am also aware that a fuse needs to be installed after the relay. 15 amp I'm sure and that both the relay and switch need power. Just confused about what colours go where in the loom throughout the 2 harnesses that would normally be required to do this job. My piggyback wires seem to be different colours to some of the diagrams I have seen.

 

Let me pull out my OEM install instructions for the fogs, not sure if it will give you the info you need, but its worth a shot. I can snag pics of my harnesses too if need be. I have a 100% complete OEM kit just chilling in a box.

Also, if you have 96/97 Fogs, it may be worth seeing if someone will trade you for 94/95 ones. They are a lot more sought after from what I've seen. Might evne be able to get a few bucks on top.

 

I guess it depends if you're trying to achieve oem functionality or just powered off a button. I found my harness off a 97 missing both the fog pigtails as well as the switch and diode pigtails. I got a pair of 94/95 lights from a member here. Oem harness comes with special mating connectors for the fuse box. It might be easier to just wire up both lights to a relay. Install a switch to drive the relay and fuse appropriately. The link I have given before includes a schematic pdf

 

Thanks guys for the info. Hoping to still install the 96-97 fogs in my 94-95 bumper as they look way cooler. Light install is easy,.....wiring is difficult. Only because I only have piggyback wires and the pics I have seen have different coloured wires than I do?????

 

Wish to keep OEM switch functionality in the cabin and operate the fogs on and off from this switch!
