Icon4 Civic 1996 D16Y7 obd2 to obd1 ECU p28

Hi ive got a civic 1996 obd2, i made it to obd1 with a harness. It has a p28 ecu chipped with launch but it keeps making 2300 RPM (not the problem in the ecu as tested on a other car) i still have everything standard besides the air filter.

now i know that i have to do this wire thing with the black n blue wire and the orange so i did that but did not make it any better im ot sure what to do next please help

Reinstall your old ECU. Problem solved.

A stock civic doesn't have sufficient power to justify adding launch control.

You'll have to at least convert to a 2 wire iacv, which will require a new manifold

You need to wire up the two wire IACV per the instructions in the FAQ. Just curious is there a reason you're using the P28 on the Y7?

Than you DIDN'T do that.....because if you did you wouldn't be asking. Please rewire for 2 wire iacv and replace the intake manifold. Yes the throttle body will have to replaced as well as throttle cable.

You can't convert a 3 wire iacv to 2 wire you physically have to use a 2 wire iacv and rewire
