Default Bigger throttle body for d16a6; What fits?

Sup,

I been looking to increase the flow on my d16a6, while still keeping somewhat oe. spec.
What throttle bodies fit on a d16a6 manifold that are bigger than the d16a6 55 mm TBbore?

So far I have found that only the d16a6, d16a1, dohc zc, sohc zc are the only ones that fit. And all are 55 mm. =[
I found that the 85-87 prelude si throttle body bolt pattern is the same by looking at felpros comptability list for the TB gasket.
As well as 86-87 Honda accords, A20A3 Engine.
So far I cannot find what size the TB is on these models, but from the photos I've seen and them being 2.0 Liters. I surmise they are maybe 58-60 mm
However I think the TPS sensor is different and not sure if that would be an issue.

I also found that the Integra B18A1 58 mm TB might fit. But this was just one post I read online so who knows.

I turn to HT to gather more knowledge. What do you guys know?

Is my only option to bore the d16a6 TB?

the b18a1 body does fit on the a6 intake mani
i did that mod myself years ago
did it increase flow yes
did it sound cooler yes
did the car go faster no
did my stock intake tube fit
yes but without the clamp

this mod just makes your car sound nicer
so i was happy with it ^_^

cool, what year model is the b18a1 from?
There are two B18A1, 90-91 and 92-93.

Or is it the b18b thats in in 92-93 integras

I also read the OBD0 b16a TB fits but I highly doubt that

You sure you have the b18b1 TB?
Bolt pattern looks very different

What is the diameter of the opening on the D16A6 manifold?
I'm going to get the oe TB bored so I'd like them to match up.

90-91 OBDO has map sensor vacuum connection.
92-93 OBDI &II has the map sensor that mounts on top

Swap to an OBD1/2 D-Series manifold and you'll have the Integra/Prelude options for throttle bodies.

Ok, I have it on very good authority from someone who fixes TB's.
d16a6 Manifolds only accept other d16a6 d16a1 sohc zc and dohc zc TB's.

Of course the accord and prelude A20A3 fit but the tps will not work so it is a no go.

This can be corraborated by simply looking up that the OBD0 b16a1 and b18A1 TB's work on newer D series. Which we know the D16a6 Tb's wont

And yes there are gains to be made here, even boring the o.e. 55 mm to 58 mm will garnier some gain.

Again, look at the 90-91 b18a1 and the 92-93 b18b1.
They gained 10 hp in newer years and one difference amongst those two was that the TB jumped from 58 mm to 60 mm.

Same thing happened with the b16a1 and b16a2.

I'm not saying the gains was only from the TB, but it was no dount a contributing factor.

I want to keep my A6 manifold so I want to get it bored to 58 or 59 mm.
Depends what the inlet diameter of the A6 manifold is.
Which I can't find. Some one knows it, please post it here.

Why not swap to a y8 manifold/TB?

I don't want to do that. It's not original
The y8 mani doesn't line up with the support bracket.
If I would do that I'd rather get an edelbrock D series manifold and 62 mm TB. Much lighter and probably does not need the support bracket.
